In order to complete our Business Intelligence Center, we are looking for a BIC Competitive Intelligence Analyst.Your main responsibilities will be to monitor Nestlé's key competitors' activities, generate strategic insights on the Business Environment (category dynamics, retail evolution, new business models), and prepare comprehensive and sound reports to be circulated to the Executive Board and their direct reports.

A day in the life of a BIC Competitive Intelligence Analyst

  • Drive Competitive Intelligence through:
  • Regular screening of category trends and our competitive landscape
  • Detailed analysis of competitor’s business and financial performance
  • Analysis and synthesis of competitor news and events
  • Complete review of some of our major competitors (portfolio, SWOT, strategies, key battles and implications for Nestlé)
  • Ad-hoc support to the category strategy managers for the preparation of the Global Business Strategies

What will make you successful

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or equivalent
  • 3+ years of experience in Finance and/or Strategy Consulting and/or Competitive Intelligence Analysis
  • Demonstrated experience with both qualitative and quantitative market research skills, including but not limited to data analysis, competitive intelligence, data synthesis, SWOT analysis, and data driven recommendations is a plus
  • Strong understanding of the FMCG business environment
  • Strong analytical skills with demonstrated ability to accumulate, evaluate, and generate insights from disparate data sources
  • Ability to structure, synthesize and think strategically
  • Responsive, organized and able to handle concurrent projects
  • Strong communication skills, ability to articulate insights clearly
  • Excellent level of English
