Role overview
To help facilitate our digital initiatives, we are looking for a Data Modeller with a data engineering / data warehousing background to join our team to develop new and enhance existing dimensional data models, predominately using T-SQL.
What You’ll Do
The Data Modeller will:
- Be responsible for designing T/SQL routines that adhere to an enterprise data & information architecture.
- Implement data modelling, error-handling, automated MDM procedures, data to hardware optimisation, etc.
- Take ownership for resolving all data and information queries through to the source for our Customers.
- Facilitate the development of effective BI requirements
- Evaluate data quality, consistency, and adherence to standards.
- Develop and update system/solution/process documentation associated with the data model solution delivery.
- Ensure solution designs are aligned with appropriate policies, rules, standards.
What You’ll Bring
The Data Modeller should have:
- Strong knowledge and experience of Microsoft SQL Server.
- A solid understanding of modern Enterprise Data Platform (EDP), techniques and best practices.
- Strong experience of dimensional modelling.
- Enthusiasm and proactivity.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
