Are you an aspiring Data Scientist with the ability to collect, analyse and model data? Are you looking for a new challenge with the opportunity to enhance a business and contribute to its success?

If so, we are looking for a junior Data Scientist to work in our Technical Enablement stream. You will be part of our Data Science function, contributing to the delivery of our objectives and working as a team to ensure we achieve. We are looking for someone who might not have heaps of experience but has the ability and drive to help us deliver. You will help prototype solutions and investigate solutions that enable us to drive to growth and efficiency through the intelligent exploitation of data.

You will need to be educated to degree level in a relative subject. Any experience in machine learning & data science would be an advantage, as would experience in legal/case management systems.

We work to an Agile Scrum framework and are currently undergoing a transition to DevOps so it would be great if you have experience in these areas.

Key Accountabilities Key Accountabilities:

  • You will assist in recommending statistical/machine learning tools and technologies to prototype new concepts.
  • You will assist in carrying out statistical analysis including data modelling & hypothesis testing.
  • You will assist in the retrieval and collection of open and closed data sources, including data processing, cleansing and verification.
  • Where applicable, you will work with developers to integrate specialist third party applications.

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

You will need to be educated to degree level in a relative subject. Any experience in machine learning & data science would be an advantage, as would experience in legal/case management systems.

  • Teamwork – You will contribute actively to an environment in which colleagues work cooperatively with each other.
  • Agile – Experience of Agile Scrum methodology is an advantage
