This is a fully-funded position (tuition fees plus annual stipend) under a contract with a leading 5G infrastructure industrial R&D Department and the University of Warwick (Professor Peter Triantafillou's group).

The goal of this project is to develop and adapt statistical machine learning models within the data systems infrastructure (consisting of relational and NoSQL databases and distributed file systems) in an effort to cope with the deluge of data generated and needed to be analysed (nearly-) online.

You will hold excellent credential manifested with:

  • (i) strong undergraduate and MSc degrees in Computer Science and relevant areas,
  • (ii) involvement in projects and/or publications in strong venues and
  • (iii) a strong background in data management systems, statistics and machine learning.

The closing date for applications is: 13th April 2020

This studentship covers full payment of tuition fees and an annual stipend paid at the UKRI rate for 4 years (current 2019/2020 rate £15,009).
