Applications are sought for a full-time researcher who will be working on research projects related to mathematical modelling for early detection of cancer as part of the UCL International Alliance for Cancer Early Detection partnership.

The researcher will work in linking routine health and administrative datasets to UCL early detection cohort studies, data curation and using the data in mathematical modelling of cancer progression.

The appointment is available to start immediately and is funded until 30th June 2022 in the first instance.

Applicants should have a PhD in a relevant quantitative discipline (e.g. applied mathematics, information systems engineering, computer science, computational biology, epidemiology, statistics) Candidates should have experience in data governance procedures, data linking, managing large and complex datasets and in using R software. It is desirable to have experience in stochastic processes, multistate modelling, multiscale modelling.
