The Health Foundation is an independent charity committed to bringing about better health and health care for people in the UK. The Data Analytics team at Health Foundation uses data to tackle real-world problems across the health and care system. Our new Data Analytics for Better Health strategy, launched in January 2020, builds on these strengths, and has a mission to ensure that analytics and data-driven technology benefits the health of everyone in the UK.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced data manager to provide data management support to our in-house data analytics team and to provide professional leadership to other data managers across the organisation.
The successful applicant will work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and shape this ambitious program of data analytics, overseeing the management and architecture of the various datasets used by the in-house team, including secure, patient-level data.
You will also support analytics across the organisation by providing professional leadership within the data management community at the Health Foundation. You will play a lead role in scoping, designing and implementing common standard procedures, supporting information governance activities and promoting shared ways of working across the different analytical computing environments.
You will have a successful track record of data management, including good project management skills and the ability to oversee complex data acquisition projects. The successful candidate will be able to work both collaboratively to deliver joint projects and to provide technical mentorship to colleagues in order to enable teams across the Health Foundation to make best use of available datasets.
This is an excellent opportunity for a data manager with a passion for improving health outcomes and a commitment to our core behaviours - Working Together, Discovering & Learning and Achieving Impact.
