The Health Informatics application development team at UHB are looking for a talented Statistical Intelligence Analyst who will provide senior SQL development services for our projects.
Health Informatics offer a progressive career-focused environment where innovative and enthusiastic people can expect to work on interesting and worthwhile healthcare projects which will positively impact upon patients and clinicians at UHB and other partner sites.
The role will have special focus on a new platform being developed using local NHS SQL platforms, and Microsoft’s Azure cloud platform. Any experience of Azure would be particularly beneficial. The NHS and associated services curate large clinical datasets which contain significant data assets potentially usable for medical research purposes. Each authorised dataset will be securely and ethnically processed to extract research data which will be stored on the Azure platform and accessed by authorised researchers within a trusted cloud-based environment.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in data design, data analysis, information governance, data curation, data extraction and the general management of datasets.
The post is fixed-term 12 months due to funding.
