Your role with us

We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Senior Proactive Fraud Analyst to lead on data-driven identification of fraudulent activity within the FCDO. Based in the FCDO’s Investigations Department and working alongside our Counter Fraud Policy Team, you will lead on and develop innovative, proactive methodology designed to identify fraudulent and wasteful activity within the FCDO. Acting as a key point of contact, you will own relationships with senior stakeholders and colleagues across the FCDO, promoting a culture of learning, development and continuous improvement. You will oversee staff in the proactive team and be focusing on the improved use and quality of data analysis as a tool to assist in fraud investigations across the FCDO network.

A true team player and effective collaborator, you should be adept at explaining complex topics, delivering difficult messages with clarity and simplicity, and presenting data in a clear and compelling way. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a vibrant and dynamic team, and to do work that makes a real impact.

We encourage applications from all communities, so that we reflect the very best of 21st century Britain. Everyone here gets the support to develop their skills and capabilities as well as benefits that help to make the most of life in and out of work, including a Civil Service pension.
