This is an opportunity to shape evidence strategy and deliver high quality UK/Ireland-focused real world evidence for key products in the Boehringer pipeline.

Tasks & Responsibilities
- Design successful epidemiological and real world evidence studies that demonstrate the value of therapies in our pipeline, drive health systems transformation and practice change, and set our pipeline launches for success
- Writes and screens relevant study documents including study protocols, statistical analysis plans, abstracts, manuscripts) to ensure high quality advocacy and dissemination of real world evidence internally and externally
- Takes a prominent role in the organisation as a recognised authority on evidence, collaborating cross functionally to lead development of high quality real world evidence strategies aligned with the brand plans
- Explores research opportunities, real world data sets, and analytical capabilities that have the potential to enhance and contribute to the evidence strategy
- Forms a key part of process quality assurance related to the delivery of evidence, including developing, enforcing and enhancing SOPs, providing expert advice and training on real world data and evidence, and fostering a growth and development mindset in the organisation
Requirements
- Academic qualifications related to epidemiology and/or real world evidence data
- Proven strong practical knowledge of epidemiology, methods related to real world evidence, real world data (especially data sources in the UK and Ireland) and analytical tools
- Experience in the pharmaceutical industry across multiple phases of development and close familiarity with variations in evidence needs across the drug development life cycle
- Fuency in English (writing, reading, speaking), including confidence and engaging manner in presentation
- Effective collaboration and strategic working style, with respect for cultural norms, gender identity, and neurodiversity
- Ambitious with career plans, able to work effectively under pressure as demonstrated by successful leadership delivering epidemiological studies from conceptualisation to publication
